Red Shade above the Glasswash

Sunpier

Sunpier stands where sealed stone keeps water beneath the Glasswash after the flood has gone. A red awning shelters its council, deep cisterns keep the camp alive, and two marked boats hold the road back to Stonebrook or onward to Ruin Dock.

Route character
Paid sea passage, desert preparation, readable hunts, and a kept return pier

01

Arrive beneath shared shade

Captain Aron’s Sunpier passage leaves Stonebrook’s Lower Quay for 25 gold. At the far pier, cargo stays clear of the gangplank and red-bound posts lead toward shelter before the dunes. The Red Awning is Sunpier’s center: water jars, witnesses, and guards gather there because shade and cistern water are obligations, not decoration.

02

Fit the road before the sand

Nomad Sahir keeps bread, potions, waterskins, and hunting supplies near the safe edge of the bazaar. Samira keeps the coin ledger, Jasir keeps the caravan depot, and the task board names work beyond the oasis only after the homeward ridge is clear. One purchasable dock lodging stands behind the marked stores; the rest of the camp remains working ground.

03

Choose dunes or drowned stone

Scarab furrows, scorpion scratches, cobra skin, and wrong-way wind warn before each desert territory. Keep the oasis or west ridge behind the first pull. For a different risk, the inner post carries a 10-gold skiff to Ruin Dock, where salvage and the Sunken Ruin begin beside an equally visible return boat.

Traveler notes

  • Stonebrook to Sunpier costs 25 gold for each passage; inspect the return post before leaving the pier.
  • Carry water and antidotes beyond the caravan warning line.
  • Ordinary scarabs, ancient scarabs, scorpions, cobras, and sand spirits occupy separate warning belts.

Services and roadkeepers

  • Samira keeps Sunpier’s bank ledger beside the Red Awning.
  • Jasir’s marked depot stores supplies and salvage away from food and water.
  • Sahir sells provisions and route tools before the desert paths divide.
  • The west pier holds the 25-gold Stonebrook boat and 10-gold Ruin Dock skiff.
