Five ways to answer the road
Choose Your Vocation
Calia teaches that retreat is part of every route. Your vocation decides what you do before that retreat: stand, stalk, burn, vanish, or hold the veil long enough for others to make it home. Carry the calling far enough and the realm names what you have become.

At Stonebrook's rain gate
Five Roads. One Shared Realm.
Stand at the front, read the next retreat, turn the Fracture's heat, take the unseen angle, or carry one more companion home. Every calling leaves through the same gate; the road decides what your party needs from you.

The Stonebrook Oath
King Edric IV offers proven vocations a lasting oath to Stonebrook, with Maelin as witness. The River-Crown records whom you serve, grants your calling a permanent title and badge, and teaches a shared Muster alongside a deliberately small boon.

Four Hues, One Calling
Choose one hue for the chief cloth, one for the second cloth, one for leather, and one for the small marks that catch the lamp. The realm keeps all four while every painted light and shadow remains upon the garment.
Your colours name you. They do not change the calling's strength.
Read the five field guides- First cloth
- The broad field of robe, hood, or battle-cloth.
- Second cloth
- A companion hue for binding and trim.
- Leather
- The road-worn pieces beneath the cloth.
- Accent
- The smallest mark beneath lamp or ember.
Make the calling yours
The road does not ask for one face.
Choose your body build, then set cloth, leather, and metal dyes without changing the strength of the calling. Armor still tells the truth of what you can do.
