The Last Turning Water

Jungle River Landing

Broad hulls stop where the Greenwater still allows one complete turn. The landing keeps a dry refuge, a dependable boat back to Stonebrook, and the last preparation counter before the free levee path bends inland toward Riverwatch.

Levels 25–40
Route character
Paid river passage, safe water threshold, antidote fitting, and a free inland road

01

Land where the river still turns

The Stonebrook boat costs 40 gold and arrives inside a basin marked by sounding posts and rope signs. The same berth carries the paid return, while a dry bench remains open for a traveler without another coin. River color, slack posts, and warning cords matter here because a quiet channel can still close around roots before dark.

02

Prepare at Lyra’s counter

Scout Lyra keeps antidotes, supplies, venom buying, and vine-mark lessons at the landward edge. Fish steps, cane rope, and cargo shelves make the landing a working hamlet rather than a second jungle camp. There is no live housing offer here, so preparation ends with supplies, a known boat, and the route ahead—not a promised room.

03

Follow three cut reeds inland

The free levee road begins at the firm-bank gate and keeps three cut reeds pointing back toward water. Poison evidence appears before Riverwatch: bright ground, scratched vines, and a safe bend that lets a company reset. The road reaches Omari’s seed table before it reaches the deeper canopy hunts.

Traveler notes

  • Stonebrook passage costs 40 gold each way; find the return berth before taking the inland path.
  • Lyra’s counter is the last antidote and supply stop before poison ground.
  • The levee walk to Riverwatch is free and marked by three cut reeds pointing home.

Services and roadkeepers

  • The turning-basin boat provides the live 40-gold return to Stonebrook.
  • Scout Lyra sells antidotes and supplies, buys venom sacs, and teaches the first vine marks.
